On the top of this well decorated base found in 1964 in the bouleuterion stood a statue of Tiberius Claudius Phesinos, erected soon after 89/90 AD when Phesinos was the arch priest of Asia. He fullfilled this prestigious function together with his wife Stratonike. The couple had a daughter Claudia Tryphaina who married the Ephesian Tiberius Claudius Italicus. Like her parents Claudia Tryphaina acted as arch priestess of Asia. She moved to Ephesos after her marriage with Italicus. The couple and their children are mentioned in many inscriptions found in Ephesos and Teos.
